Cikampek, W Java (ANTARA) - State-run oil company PT Pertamina (Persero) has readied 112 service points along the Trans Java toll road from Merak to Pasuruan to cater to the refueling needs of Eid al-Fitr holidaymakers.

While inspecting a gas station in Rest Area KM 57 in Cikampek, West Java on Thursday, Pertamina's Director of Retail Marketing Mas'ud Khamid, in the company Regulatory Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas) Committee Saryono and Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Business Muhammad Rizwi, made assurance that the service point was ready to serve consumers.

"We have prepared 112 points along the Trans Java toll road, comprising 34 existing gas stations, 10 new gas stations, and modular gas station," Khamid revealed.

Moreover, under this initiative, 25 mobile dispensers and 43 Pertamina stand-by kiosks will be made available to travelers. Moreover, Pertamina will provide 50 motorcycles for fuel oil delivery.

Holidaymakers looking to take a break from their lengthy trip can unwind at nine rest areas readied by Pertamina that offer massage service and play area for children.

Khamid noted that 26 gas stations along the Cikampek, Cipali, Ciawi and Cileunyi toll roads will be readied to offer services to holidaymakers.

In the meantime, 14 Pertamina stand-by kiosks will be prepared on the Jakarta-Cirebon toll road. The company has also readied six gas stations on the Jakarta-Merak toll road and six gas stations and 16 stand-by kiosks on the Central Java toll road. EDITED BY INE
