Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Constitutional Court (MK) confirmed that until Saturday at 9.00 WIB, it had received 333 registrants for applications over disputes related to election results for the House of Representatives (DPR), Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD).

"Applications from 333 complainants were received by the Constitutional Court," MK spokesman Fajar Laksono remarked via a text message received in Jakarta on Saturday.

Of the 333 requests, 11 were applicants for the dispute over the results of Indonesia's Legislative Election at the Regional Representative Council (DPD) level, while the rest were disputes over the results of the Legislative Election at the DPR/DPRD RI level.

The MK has projected an increase in the number of registrants despite the deadline for registration of applications set on Friday (May 24) at 1:46 WIB.

"We, at the front of the Constitutional Court, continue to receive registration. We must not reject a single file, as later all incoming files must be submitted to the Constitutional Justice," Laksono noted.

Laksono pointed out that constitutional justices had the authority to decline or continue the application to the point of the case.

Laksono stated that the deadline for registration is one of the administrative requirements for the cases to proceed.
