The KPK rearranged the questioning after Soekarwo was unable to meet its summons for questioning last Wednesday (August 21, 2019).
Soekarwo had reached the KPK building at 9:38 a.m. local time.
On May 13, 2019, the KPK had named SPR as a suspect in the alleged graft case for receiving a bribe of Rp4.38 billion in connection with the deliberation, approval, and realization of the district budget or revised district budget for the 2015-2018 budget years.

The money was believed to come from the former Tulungagung district head, identified by his initials as SM, and officials as part of the requirements to endorse the district budget and revised state budget.
During earlier proceedings, SM was found to have received bribes from several companies in Tulungagung. He was also found to have given money to the DPRD chief to pave the way for the disbursement of fund from the provincial government.
