Aceh (ANTARA) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla paid a working visit to Aceh and West Sumatra provinces on Monday and Tuesday respectively to attend the 58th anniversary of Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh and receive a Minang Entrepreneurship Award from Padang State University.

The vice president and entourage departed for Aceh on Monday morning by Presidential Plane BAe RJ-85 from Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase in East Jakarta.

While in the westernmost Indonesian province, Kalla is scheduled to deliver scientific oration at the Syiah Kuala University and later inaugurated the 7 in 1 Building project at the university.

On Monday afternoon, the vice president is scheduled to fly to the West Sumatra provincial capital of Padang to hold an unofficial gathering with Governor Irwan Prayitno , communication forum of regional leaders (Forkompimda) members, and local social figures..

Kalla and his wife, Mufidah Kalla are slated to spend the night in Padang.

On Tuesday, he will receive a Minang Entrepreneurship Award from Padang State University and inaugurate supporting facilities at Padang State University and Andalas University.

In the course of his visit to the West Sumatra provincial capital, the vice president will inaugurate a female dormitory and class rooms at Prof. Dr. Hamka II Integrated Modern Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren).

Kalla and entourage are scheduled to return to Jakarta from Minangkabau International Airport in Padang on Tuesday afternoon. He is slated to arrive at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase in East Jakarta on Tuesday evening.
