Medan, N Sumatra (ANTARA) - An unidentified person flung a Molotov cocktail at the Legal Aid Foundation (LBH) office in the North Sumatra provincial capital of Medan on early Saturday.

According to on-field information, the Molotov cocktail attack that took place at 2:30 a.m. local time damaged the roof of the office.

"For us, (the incident) is a terror act against the upholding of human rights," Chief of the Urban Workers and Poverty Division of the LBH Office Maswan remarked on Saturday

Maswan admitted to have reported the incident to the police.

"We hope this case could be investigated comprehensively to unearth the person behind the alleged terror act," he added.
