I met some Papuan youth businessmen, who run their business digitally, and I encourage them to reach the national or also international level.
Jayapura, Papua (ANTARA) - Millennial presidential special staff Billy Mambrasar has vowed to bring and promote the products of Papua's youth businesspersons to the United States (US) to introduce them to the world.

"I met some Papuan youth businessmen, who run their business digitally, and I encourage them to set them at the national or also international level," Mambrasar noted in Jayapura on Thursday.

Despite several local youth businessmen being aware of the use of digital platforms, they still cover the region's market, he pointed out.

"Outside Papua, we can see several youth businessmen with high level of achievements. Papuan youth need such encouragement to attain the same level as, for instance, Nadiem Makarim (founder of Gojek, the current education minister) and Achmad Zaky (the founder of Bukalapak)," Mambrasar stated.

Mambrasar will bring along several products made by Papuan youth while attending the International Conference of Young Scientists in the United States on December 19-23, 2019.

Thus, Mambrasar, concurrently founder of the Kitong Bisa Foundation, is optimistic that Papuan youth would grow better and have the pluck to compete at the global level.
