“Customers can use BNI’s phone banking services by dialing 1500046 and get assistance from our officers without having to leave their homes. The services are available 24 hours a day,” said the bank's Customer Service Center Unit head, Rahmat Pertinda, in a statement received here on Tuesday.
Customers can seek information, request data adjustments, make complaints, and conduct transactions over telephone, Pertinda stated.
They can avail the state-owned bank's electronic channel services, such as mobile banking, internet banking, SMS Banking, and BNI ATMs, he added.
According to Pertinda, if customers encounter a problem, they can lodge complaints by dialing 1500046, and they will be served by officers who will remain on standby round the clock.

BNI, he continued, fully supports the government's call to run a work-from-home system for the public through utilization of electronic devices and internet networks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
However, should customers need direct services, the state-owned bank will still keep branch offices functional, he added.
BNI corporate secretary Meiliana said that the bank has implemented a coronavirus security protocol, including preventive measures such as body temperature checks for those entering and leaving branch offices.
The management has also installed hand sanitizers in locations that are easy to reach, including for those at the front of service, such as tellers and customer service representatives.
"For maximum protection, we are spraying disinfectants at BNI branch offices, ATMs, and work spaces to minimize the transmission of coronavirus," he said.
