Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA) - Rescue workers evacuated six fishermen after their boat overturned in Bangko-Bangko waters, West Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara Province, on Saturday.

All the fishermen who survived the accident were evacuated to Lembar port in West Lombok, Chief of the Mataram Search and Rescue (SAR) Office Nanang Sigit PH, said.

"They were successfully evacuated without injuries. They were found floating in the Bangko-Bangko waters about 2.6 nautical miles from Tanjung Pandanan this evening," he said.

The six fishermen are identified as Isfan (55), Mesir (57), Suhedi (53), Safrudin (54). Daeng Marwan (52) snf n Dul Majid (60).

"All the victims were evacuated to Lembar port aboard ferry boat Trimas Lala that happened to pass by near the scene of accident," he said..

The Mataram SAR Office received a report of the fishing boat capsizing in the Bangko-Bangko waters at 02.50 p.m. local time on Saturday.

Soon after receiving the report, the SAR Office fielded its rescue team aboard a right inflatable boat to the scene via Lembar port.
