Meanwhile, real wages for agricultural laborers increased by 0.15 percent
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) highlighted a 0.08-percent rise in the nominal daily wage of national farm workers in September 2020, as compared to agricultural workers' wages in August 2020, to Rp55,719 daily, from Rp55,677.

"Meanwhile, real wages for agricultural laborers increased by 0.15 percent," Head of BPS Suhariyanto stated during a virtual press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday.

The average nominal wages of construction workers (non-foreman) increased by 0.98 percent in September 2020 to Rp90,753 per day as compared to Rp89,872 per day in August 2020.

Meanwhile, real wages in September 2020 increased by 1.03 percent to reach to Rp86,555 a day, as compared to Rp85,674 per day in August 2020.

The average nominal wage for female haircutters in September 2020 increased by 0.12 percent, to Rp28,656, from Rp28,622 per day in August 2020. Meanwhile, real wages in September 2020 increased by 0.17 percent to reach Rp27,330 a day as compared to Rp27,285 per day in August 2020.

The average nominal wages of household assistants in September 2020 increased by 0.01 percent, to reach Rp419,906, as compared to Rp419,864 in August 2020.

Meanwhile, real wages in September 2020 increased by 0.06 percent to reach Rp400,483, from Rp400,252 in August 2020.
