The budget comprises Rp4.931 trillion for the Working Unit of the DPR and Rp3.058 trillion for the Working Unit of the DPR Secretariat General.
“After hearing a report from the BURT DPR RI (the Internal Affairs Board of the Indonesian House of Representatives), can we agree on the work plan and budget of the DPR RI for 2022?” Vice House Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad asked at a plenary meeting of the DPR at the parliament here on Friday.
All DPR members who were present at the plenary meeting agreed on the 2022 work plan and budget of the DPR.
Chief of the BURT DPR RI, Agung Budi Santoso, said the board had received the budget proposal from the House Complementary Unit (AKD) and the DPR Secretariat General.
The budget has been compiled and synchronized to become the work plan and budget of the DPR RI for 2022, he added.
Based on the proposal from the AKD and the DPR Secretariat General, the DPR budget needs in 2022 are projected to reach Rp7,990,940,028,000, comprising Rp4,931,967,486,000, for the Working Unit of the House and Rp3,058,972,542,000 for the Working Unit of the DPR Secretariat General.
