A total of 442 new patients were confirmed positive, while 27 patients died on July 30Sleman (ANTARA) - The Sleman District COVID-19 Task Force, Yogyakarta, revealed that 476 COVID-19 positive patients had recovered on July 30, while active cases on the same day decreased by 64.
"A total of 442 new patients were confirmed positive, while 27 patients died on July 30," spokesperson for the Sleman COVID-19 Task Force Shavitri Nurmaladewi noted on Saturday.
Nurmaladewi remarked that 25,994 patients recovered since COVID-19 struck in Indonesia until July 30.
"Meanwhile, we had 34,126 confirmed cases since the onset of the pandemic, of which 1,344 had succumbed to the disease," Nurmaladewi remarked.
The spokesperson noted that until Friday (July 30), a total of 479 confirmed positive patients based on RT-PCR results had recovered, with 52 cases in Minggir, 135 in Seyegan, and the highest recovery count in Berbah reaching 292.
"Meanwhile, until Friday, 27 patients, confirmed positive by RT-PCR test, were declared dead in several areas, such as Godean, Minggir, Berbah, Prambanan,Tempel, and Cangkringan, Mlati, Depok, Kalasan, Ngemplak, Ngaglik, and Gamping," Nurmaladewi added.
Nurmaladewi later stated that 71 new confirmed cases by rapid antigen test were recorded on Friday.
"There was one case each in areas, such as Minggir, Berbah, Prambanan, Kalasan, and Pakem; two cases each in Ngemplak and Ngaglik; four cases in Seyegan; 19 cases in Tempel; and 26 cases in Depok," she noted.
Nurmaladewi also drew attention to the number of recovered patients based on rapid antigen tests. She claimed that 110 patients had recovered, while six patients had died from the virus.
"One patient recovered in Godean, three in Prambanan, six in Ngaglik, eight in Berbah, 13 each in Mlati and Kalasan, 14 in Seyegan, 18 in Tempel, and 34 cases in Depok," she added.
Meanwhile, patients confirmed dead based on rapid antigen test were found in Ngaglik, Godean, Mlati, Berbah, Prambanan, Kalasan, and Pakem.
