We are confident that after testing, Insya Allah (God willing), the success rate of this application will reach 83 percent
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Success rate of the risk-based Online Single Submission (OSS) system reached 83 percent, according to Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia.

"We are confident that after testing, Insya Allah (God willing), the success rate of this application will reach 83 percent, and the 17 percent is still for making adjustments," Lahadalia remarked at the launch of risk-based OSS by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) here on Monday.

Lahadalia noted that the risk-based OSS was built since March 2021 after the signing of government regulations on its implementation based on Job Creation. The system is designed by the publicly listed mobile company PT Indosat (ISAT).

"We honestly tell you that Indosat is the one that created this (OSS), so it is not just a random company, sir. If there is a problem, Indosat and the Ministry of Investment will be responsible," he stressed while furnishing details about the application to Jokowi.

Risk-Based OSS system has been tested since last Wednesday, August 4, and claimed to have stabilized, according to the minister.

Lahadalia noted that the application will connect four aspects: the scope of districts and cities, provinces, ministries and institutions, and the Ministry of Investment.

Since the system can run in the presence of internet connectivity, the minister stated that the barriers are likely to be faced in areas with minimal electricity supply and areas that do not have proper internet network.

"The system has 'full online' and 'semi online' features. In areas that receive electricity six hours a day, the OSS will take care of business licensing when the power is turned on. However, in areas where electricity and internet do not exist, we are formulating a solution along with Indosat, so that the implementation of OSS will be successful," he emphasized.
