Head of Disease Control and Prevention of Depok Health Office Umi Zakiati said on Saturday that 1,613,557 people in Depok were targeted to receive the vaccination.
The data from the Depok City Government is based on what was recorded through September 9, 2021. The mass COVID-19 vaccination program in Depok City is still ongoing.
Zakiati said there were a number of categories of people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Among them were 13,969 health workers who received the first dose of the vaccine, 12,939 have received the second dose, and 6,881 people have received the third dose.
Among the elderly, there were 42,892 people getting the first dose, and 31,911 have received their second dose of the vaccine.
Zakiati added that the COVID-19 vaccination had also been carried out among public officials. As many as 334,288 received the first dose of the vaccine, and 143,418 received their second dose.
Some 201,912 vulnerable people and the general public received the first dose of the vaccine. Then, 116,012 from the same category received the second dose of the vaccine.
“Also, among teenagers there are 25,558 people who received the first dose of the vaccine, 16,942 received the second dose of the vaccine. For Gotong Royong (vaccine), 1,205 people received the first dose of the vaccine, 1,013 people received the second dose of vaccine," Zakiati said.
Meanwhile, 163,347 people received their first vaccine dose from the Depok Metro Police, and 52,443 people received the second dose of the vaccine.
The Depok City Government has continued its efforts to suppress the spread of Coronavirus cases through the mass COVID-19 vaccination program. The program is carried out in all Service Technical Implementation Units (UPTD), public health centers, hospitals, and mass vaccinations at the village, sub-district, and school levels.
In addition, the effort was also performed through the Depok Vaccination Pick Up Citizens (D'Vajar) program, which picks up residents for the RSUI vaccination center, she added.
Zakiati said she expects the community to take full advantage of the vaccination services so the target of vaccination rates can be achieved in Depok City.
