"I confirmed that two other inmates had died due to their injuries on September 13, and our hospital is currently treating three other inmates from the total 10 inmates brought to our hospital," Head of the Tangerang District Hospital's Legal Publication and Information Department, Dr Hilwani, stated in Tangerang, Tuesday.
Hilwani noted that the two inmates -- M, 44, and I, 27, -- suffered varied degrees of burn, from 20 to 98 percent.
"Mr M died at 6 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (UTC +7), while Mr I died at 7 p.m. Both have been treated at this hospital," he stated.
The bodies of the two victims are kept at the Tangerang District Hospital's mortuary, pending completion of burial procedures, he noted.

Hilwani also remarked that the three remaining inmates treated at the hospital -- N, 34; Y, 33; and S, 35 -- were in a stable condition.
"The three remaining patients are in a stable condition," he stated.
He pointed out that the condition of patient S had improved significantly, as he can now communicate and eat independently. The doctors have scheduled a bone repositioning surgery today for patient S, Hilwani confirmed.
"Patient S will undergo bone reposition surgery to fix his broken left foot today," he remarked.
Earlier, the Tangerang District Hospital had admitted 10 inmates injured in the Tangerang prison fire. Those patients suffered from varying degrees of burns, from 20 to 90 percent.
