The silver medal in the same category was won by Rahmad Adi Mulyono and Dhorifatus Syafi'iyah from East Java and the bronze medal was bagged by Aspar and Mudji Mulyani, two rock climbing athletes from Jakarta.

Chairman of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (FPTI) Yenny Wahid handed over the medals and mascots of the XX Papua PON, Drawa and Kangpho, to the winners.
Before handing the medals, Wahid was seen watching the qualifying round match for the men's and women's team lead numbers at the rock climbing venue in SP2 Mimika District.
Furthermore, Chairman I of the FPTI Central Committee as well as the Board of Judges for the XX Papua PON Competition, Rudi Fitryano, told reporters that Abas and Nesthy had won the gold medal by securing 34.58 points.

Meanwhile, the silver medal was won by the pair -- Rahmad Adi Mulyono and Dhorifatus Syafiiyah -- from East Java, with a score of 34.59 points.
