These are the keys and also provision for us to coexist with COVID-19.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vaccination, health protocols, and 3T -- testing, tracing, and treatment -- are the three keys to ensure COVID-19's exit from the pandemic to the endemic stage, West Sumatra Andalas University's epidemiologist, Defriman Djafri, stated.
“These are the keys and also the provision for us to coexist with COVID-19,” Djafri informed ANTARA here on Friday.
The three keys are also the foundation for the community to coexist with COVID-19, thereby applying them as the new way of living to end the pandemic.

“If such a foundation becomes the new habits, then the pandemic will end by itself,” he affirmed.
In pursuit of entering the endemic stage, the cases of COVID-19 transmission should be stemmed, he affirmed, adding that the number of new cases should be suppressed by following the three keys as a new foundation in the lives of Indonesian citizens.

“Many people asked when the pandemic ends. The answer is when the new habits in adhering to health protocols have really been inculcated by members of the community,” he emphasized.
According to Djafri, in order to prevent the third wave of COVID-19, two important steps to be optimized entail monitoring health protocols in every activity and expediting the COVID-19 vaccination coverage to cross 70 percent.
