Jambi (ANTARA) - Jambi Police have arrested a 52-year-old Jakarta nightclub owner and three others in connection with a pedophilia case involving 30 girls aged between 13 and 15 years.

The nightclub owner has been identified by his initials as S alias KK. The other three suspects have been identified as R (36), PIS (19), and ARS (15), a child offender. All are residents of Jambi city.

"The perpetrator, S, had lured the victims by promising to give them luxury goods such as iPhones and motorcycles and money for shopping," deputy chief of Jambi Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Ruli Andi, informed on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner Afrito Marbaro.

The victims were all young girls, ranging from 13 to 15 years, Andi informed.

He urged teenagers in Jambi to not be easily persuaded by anyone, and urged parents to closely supervise their daughters.

While S was the main perpetrator, the other suspects—R, PIS, and ARS—who allegedly served as pimps were also arrested and detained by Jambi police, Marbaro said.

The investigation team is currently hunting for other perpetrators, namely intermediaries or pimps who sold the victims to S alias KK in Jakarta, Andi informed.
