There are several communication strategies. We have prepared the public communication material.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) has readied support in the form of public communication for the government's programs that handle stunting, Kominfo Minister Johnny G. Plate stated.

"There are several communication strategies. We have readied the material for public communication," Plate noted through a statement here on Friday.

The government is striving to reduce the rate of stunting in Indonesia. The ministry, through its Public Information and Communication Directorate General, had readied to disseminate information related to stunting reduction, such as through a television talk show.

The ministry is ready to collaborate with the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) by observing the correlation of the central government's programs that concern reducing stunting in Indonesia.

The ministry will also help by providing application and data center through the Electronic-Based Government System while ensuring the data capacity.

"I have to ensure and know first how much is the capacity for the processor, memory, and virtual CPU. I need to now conduct the classification. We will help with the rest," he affirmed.

The ministry will also ensure internet availability to support the execution of stunting handling programs by the BKKBN at the sub-district level.

Plate is quite confident of no internet black spots, or locations unreachable by the internet, at the sub-district level.

The ministry will also ensure that villages or sub-districts within the outermost, remote, and underdeveloped (3T) areas be included within the ministry's program to develop telecommunication infrastructure.

"For internet access, I will directly connect it to the satellite," he remarked.

Plate met with BKKBN's Head, Hasto Wardoyo, at his ministry's office on Thursday.

The meeting was also attended by Kominfo's Secretary General Mira Tayyiba, Kominfo's Public Information and Communication Director General Usman Kansong, Informatics Application Director General Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan, and Kominfo's Spokesperson Dedy Permadi.
