Purwakarta, West Java (ANTARA) - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin inaugurated a medical device factory in Nagrog, Kertamukti village, Campaka sub-district, Purwakarta district on Thursday.

"We are approaching a number of changes globally that have led to the construction of this factory in Indonesia," he said on the sidelines of the inauguration here on Thursday.

President Joko Widodo has given instructions for carrying out a transformation in the health sector, he noted.

"One of them is that we are carrying out a transformation in the health defense system so that if another disaster or pandemic occurs, we will be ready," he said.
