The fund disbursement has been carried out to strengthen the cooperative business ecosystem in Indonesia, it said.
"Synergy and collaboration between institutions and regional governments continue to be intensified so the fund disbursement could proceed optimally," LPDB-KUMKM president director Supomo noted at a press conference here on Wednesday.
While the activity is still in its early stages, the institution has continued to distribute funds that are targeted to reach Rp1.8 trillion in 2022, he informed.
Supomo said that he is optimistic that in the first quarter of 2022, the institution would disburse even more funds and reach the target by the end of the year.
Currently, LPDB-KUMKM is carrying out various collaborations, such as with the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, to strengthen tourist villages in Bali and food cluster program synergy in Nganjuk, East Java, he added.
The institution's latest collaboration has been with PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh for developing edamame real sector cooperatives, he informed.
"Our cooperative partners warmly welcomed this," Supomo remarked.
"LPDB-KUMKM not only conducts hit-and-run financing, but also assistance so that cooperative businesses can become sustainable, and can affect their member businesses, which are micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)," he said.
In addition, with the target of financing up to 40 percent real sector cooperatives, the institution is focusing on financing farming, fishery, and plantation sector cooperatives, he added.

In 2021, the number of cooperative partners that received the disbursed funds reached 192 units, with 25 percent of financing provided to real sector cooperatives, he disclosed.
"Through our financing to these productive cooperatives, we expect that we can bolster the prosperity of farmers, fishermen, and MSMEs in the productive sector," Supomo remarked.
"This is something that we can still continue through the farmers' corporatization scheme so that the productive sector can become more advanced and developed," he said.
