The Indonesian team, Garuda Women's Squad, won 3-1 over South Korea's team, after Nita Violine Marwah/Lanny Tria Mayasari beat Kim Min Ji/Pak Min Jeong, 23-21, 21-11 during a 34-minute match in women's double category.
"I am proud and relief after performing well together with Lanny, and we managed to present a victory for Indonesia," Nita Violina Marwah said in statement released by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) here on Sunday.
This is for the first time the Indonesian women's team wins the BATC champion title.

Two other winning points were presented by Indonesian women's singles badminton players Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.
Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, as the captain of the Indonesian women's team, also expressed her pride for being able to contribute to the victory that enabled Indonesia to grab the BATC 2022 trophy.
"I'm proud and grateful. Praise God for being able to bring the Indonesian women's team to victory. This is thanks to the togetherness and cohesiveness of the team. All the players have performed great and full of enthusiasm," she said.
The women's doubles team coach, Prasetyo Restu Basuki, expressed his relief and gratitude that his players could perform optimally in the final.
The Badminton Asia Team Champions (BATC) 2022 was organized in Selangor from Feb 15 to 20, 2022.
