“The number of inpatients at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7, as of Wednesday, is 896. Meanwhile, the last figure on Tuesday was 875 people," an official from Joint Regional Defense Command I, Septiono Prayogo, informed while providing an update here on Wednesday.
On March 16, 2022, the number of inpatients at the hospital was 1,078. Thus, in one week, the number of inpatients has dropped by 182.
From March 23, 2020, to March 23, 2022, Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital has provided treatment to a total of 162,966 patients.
Prayogo also provided an update on Galang Island's Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.
The number of inpatients receiving treatment at the hospital on Wednesday remained the same as Tuesday, that is 160, he said.
He then provided details on the number of workers and students who have returned from abroad and are currently being treated in Towers 8, 9, and 10 of the Wisma Atlet Pademangan COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Jakarta.

The number of inpatients at the hospital increased by 244 to 1,640 on Wednesday from 1,396 on Tuesday.
Then, at Towers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Nagrak low-cost apartment (rusun) COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, the number of inpatients declined by 105 from 1,229 on Tuesday to 1,124 on Wednesday, he said.
The first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Indonesia in March 2020.
According to data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, as of March 23, 2022, Indonesia has recorded a total of 5,981,022 COVID-19 cases, 5,658,238 recoveries, and 154,221 deaths.
