The request was conveyed by DPN chairperson, Jan Christian Arebo, during a meeting with Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD here on Thursday.
"We fully support the central government with the presence of these new autonomous regions (DOB) in Papua to prosper the Papuan people and (support) equitable development in the land of Papua," Arebo said.
To this end, the youth group expects the President to accelerate the establishment of the new autonomous regions to make Papua safe, peaceful, and conducive, he added.
He said that he believes the expansion of Papua will have a positive impact on its people and expedite development.
According to him, most Papuans are loyal to the Republic of Indonesia.
"Not all Papuans ask for independence, not all Papuans ask for a referendum, I am an Indonesian citizen who is loyal and obedient to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and Indonesia," he stressed.

On the same occasion, Pastor Catto Y. Mauri who was also present at the meeting, affirmed his support for the establishment of the three autonomous regions in Papua. The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is a gift from God to Papuans, he remarked.
"As a servant of God, I want to say one statement that is indisputable: Papua in Indonesia is a gift of God. We are grateful for it," Mauri, who is also a member of the Papuan Indigenous Youth, said.
Meanwhile, Minister Mahfud said that the government will speed up the DOB progress.
"The caretaker is still being discussed, but what is important now is to promulgate it first, and its formation through a Presidential Regulation," he added.
