Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Formula E Committee is officially selling tickets online priced at Rp250 thousand-Rp10 million, not including tax, starting from May 1, 2022, to the general public to see the electric vehicle race.

In his official statement on Monday, Jakarta Formula E Organizing Committee (OC) Head Ahmad Sahroni noted that the tickets are being sold on the websites: jakartaeprixofficial.com and jakartaeprix.goersapp.com.

The tickets include entry access to Ancol and various attractions within it, such as Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), SeaWorld, Atlantis, and Pantai Festival. However, they do not include Faunaland and Gondola.

In addition to several attractions within Ancol, the audience, who have already brought the Jakarta Formula E tickets, can watch performances of bands and artists that will enliven the racing event on June 4.

Indonesia became one of the nations to hold the eighth season of Formula E. The series of international electric car racing events has already begun since January in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

Indonesia became the host for the ninth racing series to be held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

As a whole, JIEC Ancol can hold around 60 thousand people, and the racing can be witnessed from various event location points, Sahroni stated.

The audience can choose four location categories to watch the Formula E: Ancol Festival, Circuit Festival, Grand Stand, as well as VIP and VVIP.

The most affordable ticket, sold for Rp250 thousand, is for the Ancol Festival category.

Meanwhile, the most expensive ticket, priced at Rp10 million, is for the VVIP and VIP category. The ticket price does not include the 15-percent tax.

Sahroni expects that with the various services provided at the event, the public would be able to enjoy the international racing event even more.
