In a written statement issued on Monday, she said she expects the halal bihalal activity (Eid al-Fitr social gathering) of the entire ministry to become an opportunity to improve the performance of the ministry.
G20 is an international forum comprising 19 nations who work together to handle major issues. Indonesia is chairing this year's forum.
Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Eid al-Fitr has become a celebration of returning to our nature as humans after going through the process of Ramadan, she remarked.
During the virtual and live halal bihalal event on Monday, the minister said that Eid al-Fitr is also a time for bringing about a change for the better in daily life, including by ministry employees.
Fauziyah further said that through this year's Eid al-Fitr, she expects all ministry employees to expedite activity programs.
This acceleration must support optimal budget absorption and be directly beneficial for the people, including during the period of recovery from the pandemic's impact.
The minister also asked all ministry employees to use Eid al-Fitr as an opportunity to synergize to make the Employment Working Group (EWG) meetings within the G20 forum a success.
EWG is a group within the G20 sherpa track that primarily discusses the economical and social aspects of policies related to manpower.
The meetings offer a rare opportunity to demonstrate that Indonesia is on equal footing with other nations in the G20 forum, Fauziyah explained.
They also serve as proof that Indonesia can carry out policy reformation in the manpower sector, she added.
