All of you graduates today must become the catalysts of change among the people, the ones who act upon the people's will, and be an inspiration for the people.Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights has made universities in Indonesia as strategic partners to produce quality human resources, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly stated.
"These human resources are expected to be able to cooperate in the planning, development, guidance, and enforcement of law," he noted while delivering his speech to the graduates of Krisnadwipayana University here on Thursday.
This also aligns with President Joko Widodo's directive to create human resources with quality character, he remarked.
"All of you graduates today must become the catalysts of change among the people, the ones who act upon the people's will, and be an inspiration for the people," he remarked.

In his speech, he reminded graduates to not be selfish and arrogant. This is because college is not just about the pursuit of academic scores but also dedication that must be maintained and developed.
Graduates need one special competency to be able to participate in the nation's development. Amid stringent and dynamic competition, a person must have a comparative advantage, he stressed.
"Change your mindset from being job seekers to become job creators," he stated.

During the event, he noted that acceleration of the digital transformation era due to the COVID-19 pandemic must become an opportunity to make leaps in advancement.
"The COVID-19 pandemic affects many things. We are forced to change and adopt to a new normal condition while also entering the digital transformation era," Laoly explained.
Rapid technological developments also necessitate quick adaptation skills. This became one of the important skills for academicians and universities.
Earlier, official of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nizam, in a statement on April 24, noted that quality universities must be relevant to the real or working world.
