"This is not a mere aggression from a country, but it is a coercive robbery of a territory. (Russia) must not be let go unpunished," he stressed while answering questions during the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) virtual public forum accessed here on Friday.
When asked about the minimum compromise Ukraine is willing to make for peace, Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian people just want to live in their own country.
"We want to live in our own country. We do not want anyone's territory, we do not want anything from anyone, we are not going to wage war onto other countries' land," he added.

Ukraine regrets that there has been no substantial progress in the peace negotiations with Russia, he said and reiterated the Ukrainian people’s desire to negotiate with Russia to end the humanitarian crisis and live peacefully in their own homeland.
"I can't see any substantial progress. I have not received a substantial response from them (Russia) on the proposal to stop this war from the start of the negotiations. There is only one reason I want to continue negotiations—so that the humanitarian crisis can stop, and we can return to our own lands," he said.
The President further said that the Ukrainians want their normal lives back, and that they do not want to just exist—but to live and reclaim their sovereign country back.
Regarding the current situation in Ukraine, President Zelenskyy said that for three months, Russian military planes have flown over Ukraine’s skies and destroyed nearly two thousand education institutions.
They have also hit churches, mosques, and other religious places, he informed.
"Just yesterday, Kharkiv, one of our cities, had nine casualties. One was a young child, the father was hit, and the mother was heavily wounded. This is the reality that we have been facing since February 24," the President added.
