Thus, we urge Hajj pilgrims who are experiencing health problems to not hesitate to utilize the health services available at the KKHIJakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian Hajj pilgrims can avail free health services at the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) run by the government, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) has said.
"Pilgrims who have health problems can utilize the health services provided at the KKHI free of charge," Agus Suprapto ,the deputy for health quality improvement and population development coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, said when contacted here on Tuesday.
He highlighted that the KKHI in Saudi Arabia is ready to provide health services to pilgrims from Indonesia.
The services that the clinic has readied include medical personnel, medicines, and other equipment, he informed.

He said that, based on information provided by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the KKHI has been equipped with an emergency unit (ER), high care unit (HCU), intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient care, and several other supporting facilities.
In addition, health workers, ranging from general practitioners, dentists, internal medicine specialists, pulmonologists, heart specialists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, ENT specialists, to mental health specialists, have also been prepared.
"Thus, we urge Hajj pilgrims who are experiencing health problems to not hesitate to utilize the health services available at the KKHI," he said.
Suprapto expressed the hope that dissemination regarding the KKHI would continue to be intensified among pilgrims so that they know about the KKHI and the services it provides.

He also said he expects the dissemination of information to Hajj pilgrims on the importance of maintaining their health during the pilgrimage would continue to be intensified.
"The dissemination must continue to be intensified to remind the pilgrims to pay attention and maintain good health before leaving up until returning to the country," he remarked.
He pointed out that pilgrims can maintain their health by drinking sufficient water, maintaining their food intake, getting enough sleep, and performing light exercise.
