The vice president arrived at the Cibuluh Batik Alley at 2:26 p.m. local time (UTC +7) and walked for around 100 meters to greet residents that welcomed him in front of their homes.
Amin then greeted the five craftsmen that represented 40 batik craftsmen eligible for the social aid to receive the aid directly from the vice president.
Each batik craftsman received Rp5 million (US$345) worth of social aid from Baznas for the business venture.
In his remarks after presenting the aid, the vice president encouraged batik craftsmen to develop special batik patterns and enhance their marketing methods to achieve domestic and global market reach.

"A few days ago, I have received Muslim fashion designers that had exhibited their (batik) products in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and other countries. I hope that batik products made in Cibuluh would be exported. (This is) because we need to be creative and innovative, and some places, including Sarinah, have provided spaces to promote (local products), including the Cibuluh-made batik," Amin remarked.
Apart from encouraging batik craftsmen to boost their production, he also urged Baznas to continue to guide craftsmen in Cibuluh to innovate and develop new and creative batik patterns.
The vice president then observed various batik products created by craftsmen in Cibuluh Batik Alley and purchased some batik made by them. He also presented prayer mats to curious locals that were present during his visit to Cibuluh.
Amin concluded his visit to the Cibuluh Batik Alley at 3:59 p.m. local time, and his entourage departed from Cibuluh amid residents enthused to bid farewell to the vice president.
