Moeldoko made the statement while speaking during the opening of the Coordination Meeting of the KSP and ministries as well as agencies organized in Batam, Riau Islands Province, on Friday.
"KSP is here to conduct debottlenecking. What is the president's concern must be running. Hence, when KSP's members come to a ministry, that's my order, Moeldoko's order," Moeldoko noted in a press statement here on Friday.
The KSP along with ministries and agencies and local governments made the coordination to unravel the blockages faced on account of strategic issues, according to the statement.
The government faces bottlenecks, among other things, in accelerating land certification in coastal areas and small islands, increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs product exports, the issue of subsidized fuel for fishermen, Indonesia's preparations for becoming a member of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), securing border areas in the Malacca and Natuna Straits, handling hoaxes ahead of the election year, as well as implementing the fight against poverty through social security.
"We have to solve these issues today. Do not be long-winded," he emphasized.
Moelodoko, who had served as the military (TNI) chief during the 2013-2015 period, stated that the coordination meeting in Batam was also held to bring the central government closer to solving strategic issues of a local nature.
"Two local issues in Riau Islands that need attention are the acceleration of certification of coastal areas and small islands and increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. We must raise this at the national (level)," he affirmed.
