"They need a good cultural environment and role models from adults," Nashir said in a written statement here on Saturday.
He made the statement at the commemoration of the 2022 National Children's Day, which this year has the theme 'Protecting Children for Advanced Indonesia'.
Nasir reminded that children basically have their own world. "They are growing to become adults," he said.
Therefore, he appealed to the public to provide good education and protection so that children in Indonesia will always be perfect human beings.
On the momentum of National Children's Day commemoration, Nashir invited all parties to do self-reflection.
"Let's support Indonesian children to have a bright future," he said.
