The Pure Participation Rate (APM) in Seribu Islands is one of the lowest in Indonesia, so the readiness of human resources in the leading tourist attractions of Seribu Islands must be increased
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tourism activities in Seribu Islands would create 35 thousand job opportunities after it is designated as a National Strategic Project (PSN) for tourism, with a US$3.2-billion investment, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno stated.

"After Seribu Islands is designated as a National Strategic Project, we must go all out. I have called all ranks to prepare steps for 2023 for this National Strategic Project to be realized," the minister noted at the Untung Jawa Island, Seibu Islands District, here, on Wednesday.

With the possibility of creating 35 thousand employment opportunities in Seribu Islands, with a total population of only 29 thousand, the district has the potential to improve the community's welfare and education if the development of PSN in the district is conducted properly.
