"We are at the end of the Digital Innovation Network event, but this is the beginning. Because in this extraordinary event that lasted for three days, there is a lot of intuition in planning the use of digital technology that can help all of us face problems and recover after the pandemic," Director General of Informatics Application at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan said here on Sunday.
The 2022 G20 DIN event was organized with the aim of sharing knowledge and showcase innovative solutions from startups, which also involved venture capital, policymakers, and corporates. DIN was initiated by Italy in 2021 under the name G20 Digital Innovation League.
"With the participation of 52 startups and 42 venture capital, we hope the they have explored and establish many potential collaborations and investments," Pangerapan said.

He said that Indonesia will release an e-book on the journey of G20 DIN, and innovations and ideas developed by startups who have won the awards.
Symbolic awards were handed over to the best innovative startups in five sectors: healthcare, education technology, financial inclusivity, green and renewable energy, and supply chain.
The winners selected by the jury were UCARE.AI from Singapore and Neurobots from Brazil for the healthcare sector; MOOVA from Argentina and Sinbad from Indonesia for the supply chain sector; Xurya from Indonesia and Uali from Argentina for the green and renewable energy sector; Edubuk from India and Accredify from Singapore for education technology; and WireBarley from South Korea and Lendo from Saudi Arabia for the financial inclusivity sector.
Meanwhile, in the favorite startup category chosen by the participants, there were NUSANTIC from Indonesia and Qapsula from Russia for the healthcare sector; Eunimart from India and FairSupply from Australia for the supply chain sector; EINHUNDERT Energie from Germany and MVL Labs for the green and renewable energy sector; Cakap from Indonesia and Sarente Gameon from Turkey for the education technology sector; and Komunal from Indonesia and Lendo from Saudi Arabia for the financial inclusivity sector.
