"With the handling of COVID-19 being brought under greater control, it can be seen that realization of the health budget is only 33 percent. It is low but good," she noted at the State Budget Press Conference here on Friday.
In detail, the realization comprises Rp40.6 trillion in medical care, or 33.1 percent of the Rp122.54 trillion ceiling; Rp25.1 trillion used for payment of patient claims, and Rp 2.7 trillion for incentives for health workers.
As much as 1.7 trillion was used for vaccinations, Rp1.6 trillion for health tax incentives, and Rp 8.3 trillion for regional budget support, including the Village Fund for COVID-19 handling.
National economic recovery realization also included community protection of Rp109.3 trillion, or 70.7 percent of the Rp154.76-trillion ceiling, with Rp21.4 trillion to 10 million beneficiary families of the Family Hope Program, and Rp32.9 trillion in basic food cards for 18.8 million beneficiary families.
It also included Rp7 trillion in cooking oil for 23.9 million recipients, Rp6.4 trillion in fuel oil cash assistance for 20.65 million beneficiary families, Pre-Employment Cards worth Rp12.8 trillion for 3.6 million participants, and Rp21.2 trillion in village cash assistance for 7.5 million beneficiary families.

Some Rp5.1 trillion was disbursed for wage subsidy for 8.4 million workers, Rp1.3 trillion of assistance for street vendors that was distributed by the Police to 683 thousand recipients and the national defense force to 1.4 million recipients, and Rp1.2 trillion of regional budget support for the public security unit.
"This is good because people can immediately (reap) the benefits," Indrawati pointed out.
Lastly, it also includes Rp90.9 trillion for improvement of economic recovery, which was 51 percent of the ceiling of Rp178.32 trillion. The amount included Rp15 trillion for labor-intensive programs, Rp5.5 trillion in tourism and creative economy, and Rp14 trillion for food security.
Some Rp0.9 trillion was allocated for industrial estates, Rp20.8 trillion of MSME support in the form of the people's credit, Rp13.3 trillion in tax incentives, and Rp11.5 trillion in infrastructure and connectivity.
"We expect that this October, November, and December spending can be pursued, so that we can feel the positive impact on our economy," she concluded.
