Leaders of the OIC state parliament will hold a meeting at the Pullman Hotel, Bandung City. The forum of parliament leaders from Islamic countries aims to discuss global issues, as noted in statement issued on the official website of the Bandung city government.
The meeting will also discuss the formation of the OIC parliament forum as a cooperation agreement between the parliaments from Islamic countries around the world.
One of the locations in Bandung that will be visited by OIC parliament leaders is the Asia-Africa Conference (KAA) Museum on Asia-Afrika Street.
The museum management expressed readiness to welcome the leaders.
Head of the KAA Museum Dahlia Kusuma Dewi said the opening of the OIC parliamentary leaders' meeting will take place at the Merdeka building.
"For October 25 in the morning, the activity will be held at the Merdeka building hall, after which a visit to the KAA Museum is scheduled," Dewi explained.
Dewi ensured that the Museum and the City are ready to welcome the OIC delegates as well as to host the event.
She further explained that the forum is a meeting between parliamentary leaders of OIC countries that was initiated by the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR).
In addition to discussing several global issues, the parliamentary leaders of OIC countries will attend an event of historical stories implemented by the local government of Bandung City.
Moreover, the delegates are scheduled to take a historical walk around some cultural heritage buildings in the city of Bandung and will finish their walk at the Merdeka building that was the venue for the first Asian-African Conference.
