Thus, people, who will travel to and from Bali, can adjust their travel plans early, so they will not face any difficulties (due to the limited regular flight services).Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Transportation Ministry issued Circular Letter Number 12 of 2022 on Aviation Operational Management at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali Province, during the implementation of the 2022 G20 Summit under Indonesia's Presidency.
"The circular aims to ensure that the implementation of flight services, from arrival to departure, runs safely, orderly, and smoothly as well as to minimize disruptions to flight services during the implementation of the G20 Summit," Acting Director General of Air Transportation of the ministry Nur Isnin Istiartono remarked here on Saturday.
Istiartono noted that Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi had urged all ranks of the ministry to collaborate with various stakeholders to focus on the preparedness of aviation facilities and infrastructure as well as ensure the readiness, safety, and security of flight services from and to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
On November 12-18, 2022, the airport will operate round the clock, and commercial flights are prohibited from having an overnight parking or remain overnight (RON) service.

Furthermore, the operations of regular flight services will be limited on November 13-17, 2022, to provide schedules for VVIP flights.
The Transportation Ministry has designated 11 supporting airports to also operate for 24 hours to station the VVIP aircraft used by participants of the G20 Summit that will be held in Bali on November 15-16, 2022.
The airports include the Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport in West Nusa Tenggara Province, Juanda Airport in East Java, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in South Sulawesi, Syamsuddin Noor Airport in South Kalimantan, and International Airport Yogyakarta in Yogyakarta.

In addition, other airports are the Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport in East Kalimantan, General Ahmad Yani Airport in Central Java, Adi Soemarmo Airport in Central Java, Soekarno Hatta Airport in Banten, Banyuwangi Airport in East Java, and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Transportation Ministry also expected all flight operators to actively inform their customers regarding the adjustment of flight operations during the 2022 G20 Summit.

His side is optimistic that implementation of the summit and the operations of regular flights would be conducted in a safe, smooth, and comfortable manner.
