"Our highest gratitude and appreciation goes to all parties who continue to assist the government in building a health system in the country in order to create a healthier Indonesia," the ministry's Head of Communication and Public Service, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said in Jakarta, Sunday.
The awards were given to work units at the Ministry of Health, local governments, academicians, and private sectors.
The award was presented by the Director General of Public Health Maria Endang Sumiwi on the sideline of the Domestic Health Innovation and Technology Exhibition held to commemorate the 58th National Health Day (HKN) at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Saturday.
On this occasion, the ministry gave 116 awards for 17 categories according to the seven pillars of health transformation.
Of the 17 categories, 10 categories were aimed to work units of the Ministry of Health for internal transformation efforts and seven categories to external parties.
The 10 internal categories are the Electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev) Implementation of Programs and Activities, Work Unit with the Best Budget Implementation Performance Indicator (IKPA) until Quarter III 2022, Ranking of Provincial and District/City in Health Profile Ratings in Indonesia 2022.
Other categories are Best Library Award 2022, Best Librarian Award 2022, Best Call Center Award 2022, Public Service Interaction Behavior Compliance Award 2022, and Green and Healthy Culture Office Movement Award (BERHIAS).
In addition, Archiving Award and Appreciation for integrated health center (posyandu) that have carried out the Early Detection of PTM Risk Factors were also given to internal parties.
Meanwhile, the seven other categories are given to external parties including local governments, companies, community partners, and the media for their concern on the health sector.
These awards include the Media and Journalist Cares Award, Stakeholder Award in Supporting National Movement (Germas) for Business World, Universities, Community Organizations and Mass Media, Award to Local Governments committed to Implementing Cataract Blindness Prevention.
Award for the Implementation of Non-Smoking Area (Pastika Tan Yasa Wanala), Award for the Implementation of Innovation in Non-Smoking Area (Pastika Tan Yasa Wanala), Award for Public Service Implementing Non-Smoking Area (Pastika Upasana Adhikara), and Appreciation for Implementation of Healthy Campus in Universities.
"Each award recipient will receive a certificate signed by the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin," Tarmizi infomed.
She hopes that the awards can motivate and encourage related parties to support health programs and policies.
"Hopefully the awards can increase the spirit to rise from the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to succeed the health transformation agenda carried out by the Health Ministry," she added.
