C Lombok, NTB (ANTARA) - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Health Office has deployed 421 health workers to support the implementation of the World Superbike (WSBK) at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Central Lombok District, NTB Province.

"The total number of health officers involved in WSBK is 421 people," Head of the NTB Health Office Lalu Hamzi Fikri told ANTARA when contacted telephonically here on Saturday.

Fikri noted that the health workers deployed were general practitioners, specialist doctors, as well as nurses.

The health workers would be placed in the first ring area that included the medical service center, the circuit, the airport, Sunggung Roundabout, and Kuta area, he remarked.

The office head said his side had also readied nine ambulances and two helicopters in the first ring area for the racing event.

"Meanwhile, there are 14 ambulances in the second ring area as well as another 14 ambulances in the third ring area that includes 10 integrated health posts,” he remarked.

In addition, health officers will be stationed at Kayangan Port in East Lombok, Mataram City Integrated Post, Gili Mas Por and Lembar Port in West Lombok District, as well as Bangsal Harbor in North Lombok District, he noted.

The WSBK is being implemented on November 11-13, 2022.

Vice President for Commercial of the Indonesian MotoGP and WSBK promoter Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Aji Aditra Perdana noted that as of Friday (November 11, 2022), a total of 36,933 WSBK tickets had been sold.

Perdana also stated that the ticket sales would still be opened until the last day of the implementation of the racing event.

In addition to offline sales at Mall Epicentrum Mataram, Perdana said his side had dispatched two teams to conduct mobile selling at Bima City, Sumbawa District, and Dompu District.

The MGPA provided a 50-percent discount for all festival and grandstand tickets for local residents.
