TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa did not accompany Margono for the fit and proper test.

After their arrival, Margono and his entourage entered Nusantara Building II and then the meeting room of DPR Commission I for the fit and proper test, which was scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

Earlier, the chief of Commission I of the DPR, Meutya Hafid, said that the commission has processed the documents on Margono's candidacy for the post of TNI commander. The commission was scheduled to verify the documents before performing the fit and proper test.

"This morning, the representative of the TNI commander candidate sent the documents. The documents include curriculum vitae, resident's identity card (KTP), family card (KK), and taxpayer code number (NPWP), and wealth report," she informed.

Earlier on Monday (November 28), DPR Speaker Puan Maharani received the Presidential letter proposing Admiral Margono’s candidature as the new TNI commander.
