The four countries should collaborate to improve their harbors to become a united strength that will lead them to become a global logistics power, Indonesian Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi stated here Wednesday.
Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei Darussalam are truly fortunate to be at the center of Europe and China's major logistics vortex, he noted during the BIMP-EAGA Maritime 2023 Exhibition and Conference.
This strategic position should be utilized through collaboration and real programs to improve competitiveness, including by encouraging Indonesia to become a hub.
Moreover, Indonesia has several harbors since it is an archipelagic state.
