Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Health Ministry has announced that PeduliLindungi will undergo a complete change and transform into an integrated health service called Satu Sehat Mobile.

"Satu Sehat Mobile itself is from PeduliLindungi. It will automatically change because we do not want to burden people, so we only announce that there will be changes. " deputy chief of the Digital Transformation Office of the Health Ministry, Agus Rachmanto, informed during the Siaran Sehat (Health Broadcast), which was followed from here on Monday.

People just need to wait, that on March 1, 2023, the application on phone will change by itself, he said, adding that Satu Sehat Mobile will be a part of the services provided on the Satu Sehat platform and offer a broader array of health services. One of its functions will be the integration of medical records and other health services into the platform.

The platform is an innovation carried out by the ministry and a manifestation of Indonesia’s health technology transformation, the sixth pillar of the health system transformation.

Satu Sehat Mobile is expected to help people in effectively and efficiently gathering data on their health status by allowing them to see necessary data, ranging from vaccination certificates to drugs consumed.

Rachmanto said that several consultation services will be offered by verified medical personnel or licensed hospitals on the platform.

He also informed that the security of data on Satu Sehat Mobile will be guaranteed. The ministry is collaborating with some stakeholders, such as the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) and the Communication and Informatics Ministry, for certifying the application, establishing the security system, managing the technology, as well as registering human resources management.

Users will not need to download the application because, on March 1, 2023, the PeduliLindungi app on devices will change by itself, he said. Even if it needs new updates, users will be notified and will not need to register again.
