The new public health application has been registered to the Electronic System Providers (PSE) list from the Communication and Informatics Ministry under the Strategic category.
Thus, it provides assurance in protection of personal data and prevention of abuse, Chief of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) at the Ministry Setiaji told ANTARA.
According to him, data masking and encryption are undertaken to maintain the application's security.
Some new features will become available within the mobile application, he said.
Beyond features, such as COVID-19 vaccination, antigen, and PCR test results and QR code scan during check-in, there will also be a new feature called health diary in the near future.
The health diary is able to record and monitor the user's conditions.
Through the feature, the user's body weight and height, blood pressure, blood sugar, and heartbeat can be recorded.
It will then present various types of information, such as health curve, analysis, as well as recommendation for further actions.
In its development plan, SatuSehat Mobile will gradually add various other personal health supporting features.
The data for these features will come from and be integrated with the Electronic Medical Record (RME).
Several services, such as children immunization, hospital queue, examination results, and medicine purchasing data, will be accessed and integrated through the application.
Data security is stipulated within Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (PDP).
In accordance with the Law, PSEs, namely application, portal and website operators, must provide guarantee of protection of personal data and prevention of abuse.
