She said this during her joint statement with President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday.
Peru offers numerous opportunities for cooperation, particularly in trade and investment, considering that Indonesia and Peru have established diplomatic relations for 50 years, since August 12, 1975, said Boluarte.
"Peru is open for Indonesian investors in sustainable, responsible, and inclusive sectors. Specifically, I invite Indonesian entrepreneurs to become users and future investors in all logistics, industry, and technology centers in Peru's central coastal region," Boluarte remarked.
She then outlined several prospective locations for new business centers and ports in Peru, including the Port of Chancay, Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, and the Ancón Industrial Park (PIA) in the northern region of Lima.
"Peru aspires to become a major logistics hub in the Pacific and South America. We position ourselves as an integrated hub for trade in the Asia-Pacific,"added Boluarte.
President Boluarte visited Indonesia as part of a state visit and bilateral meeting with President Prabowo.
Her visit marked the first official visit by a Peruvian President to Indonesia since the two countries established diplomatic relations 50 years ago.
During their meetings, President Prabowo and President Boluarte witnessed the signing of the Indonesia-Peru Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), completed after 14 months of negotiations.
President Boluarte welcomed the Indonesia-Peru CEPA, saying it could simplify the entry of Peruvian products into Indonesia, including blueberries, pomegranates, quinoa, and chia seeds.
During her state visit to Jakarta, President Boluarte was accompanied by Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer Salcedo, Minister of Economy and Finance Raúl Pérez-Reyes Espejo, Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation Ángel Amnero Campo, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism Úrsula Desilú León Chempén, Secretary General of the Presidential Office Enrique Vilchez, Peruvian Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia Luis Tsuboyama, and Director General for Asia and Oceania of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Fernando Quiros Campos.
Meanwhile, President Prabowo was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.
