If there is an opportunity, take it to West Java because we will welcome it
Bandung, West Java (ANTARA) - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil called on 13 candidates for ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary and seven candidates for consul generals to promote the province's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"I urge these ambassador candidates to uphold the spirit of Globalization 2.0, which is local (products) to penetrate the global (market). Hence, please promote West Javan MSMEs products, as we already have the 'West Java MSME Export Campus," Kamil stated here on Monday.

On Monday at Gedung Sate, he received the 20 envoy candidates and urged them to help attract investment into West Java.

According to Kamil, West Java was named the province with the best investment achievements last year.

"If there is an opportunity, take it to West Java because we will welcome it," he remarked.

He also offered the traditional musical instrument angklung to serve as a tool of cultural diplomacy.

"We will send angklung to the respective embassies for cultural diplomacy, in addition to economic (missions)," he remarked.

The visit to West Java was part of the envoy candidates' preparation, according to an expert staff to the Foreign Minister, Muhsin Syihab.

Syihab stated that before the envoys depart to their assigned countries, they will travel throughout Indonesia.

"It is impossible (to travel) the whole archipelago, so we selected several regions," he remarked.
