For the program, which is encouraging MSMEs to adopt digital technology and undertake business incubation, Pos Indonesia has been roped in as a product delivery partner for MSMEs for the domestic and global markets.
"We are helping, starting from delivery whether at the domestic to international levels using the Pos Aja service," Pos Indonesia's Courier and Logistics Business Director Siti Choiriana, who is also known as Ana, informed when contacted here on Wednesday.
An incentive in the form of a delivery price discount is being offered to 20 thousand MSMEs that are participating in the ministry’s guidance program, she added.
Pos Indonesia will provide assistance to MSMEs interested in aiming for the global market so that they can compete with other players in terms of product quality.
To allow the MSMEs to adopt digital services faster, Pos Indonesia is also encouraging them to use its online application Pos Aja.
In addition to providing delivery assistance, Pos Indonesia has also been tasked with providing warehousing facilities named Stori for the MSMEs.
Stori will serve as a solution for MSMEs facing issues as they do not own a warehouse.
"When they use the warehouse service from Pos Indonesia, we make sure that their products are safe and their qualities are maintained," Choiriana said.
"This also facilitates MSMEs to conduct delivery when there is an order because it is directly delivered from our warehouse," she added.
