"Currently, COVID-19 vaccination and treatment are still being facilitated by the government, and the coming policy will be formulated by the government," he noted at a press conference here on Thursday.
Adisasmito urged the people to immediately get their vaccination shot at the nearest posts. Those, who have yet to get their second booster shot, are expected to maintain their immunity, he emphasized.

The COVID-19 Task Force reported that 38.01 percent of the total 234.66 million targeted people had received the third dose of vaccination, he remarked.
"It is important to improve this figure still. Improvement in the national COVID-19 condition in Indonesia is (owing to the) role of vaccination," he stated.
He drew attention to the serology survey of SARS CoV-2 antibodies in Indonesians as per January 2023, which shows that 99 percent of the people still have considerably high body immunity against the virus.
Everyone must maintain their own health as well as those living around them, Adisasmito emphasized.
