As part of this synergy, a meeting was held between PFN and Telkom subsidiary PT Nuon Digital Indonesia, which operates in the field of digital entertainment content, to discuss collaboration in creating the Indonesia Film Facilitation (IFFa) website.
"The collaboration to create this website will provide a comprehensive digital solution for film industry professionals and activists," said Aris Sudewo, President Director of PT Nuon Digital Indonesia, in a statement released on Wednesday.
This synergy aims to support the development of digital technology in the film industry, which can encourage the advancement of the film and content industry in Indonesia. It can also help create an ecosystem filled with innovations from domestic filmmakers.
Dwi Heriyanto B, President Director of PFN, stated that the synergy between Nuon and PFN is intended to strengthen the digital infrastructure in the Indonesian film industry.
The IFFa website will provide support to filmmakers by making their work more easily accessible. It will allow film producers to quickly access shooting locations, including shooting permits, and facilitate harmonious collaboration between producers and location owners, explained Heriyanto.
Furthermore, the website will help expand partnerships with stakeholders in the sector, he added.
Sudewo expressed hope that the new synergy with PFN will also expand the reach of Indonesian content in the global market, in addition to improving the digital infrastructure for the film industry.
He emphasized that this synergy aligns with PFN's commitment to developing quality ecosystems for the advancement of the Indonesian film and content industry, as well as Telkom's efforts to support the realization of an Indonesian digital ecosystem.
As a subsidiary of Telkom, Nuon is committed to participating in the realization of this vision, Sudewo concluded.
