Using the Air Force's Boeing 737-400, Vice President Amin and his entourage departed for Semarang from Halim Perdanakusumah Air Force Base in Jakarta at around 2:15 p.m. local time and arrived at Ahmad Yani Army Air Base, Semarang, at around 3:15 p.m. local time.
Upon arrival in Semarang, Vice President Ma'ruf was welcomed by Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen and his wife Nawal Araffah Yasin.
Then, the VP headed to Simpang Lima Square, where the 39th HAN summit took place.
This year, the HAN celebration in Semarang carried the theme "Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia", with the tagline #BeraniKarenaPeduli or #CouragetoCare
With the theme, the government wants to raise the spirit and good practices of children who dare to speak up.
The children will act as "pioneers" and "rapporteurs" (2P) that speak up for the importance of preventing child marriage and violence and economic exploitation of children.
In line with this theme, the 2023 National Children's Forum (FAN) also carried the theme "Indonesian Children: Rise and Move Forward, Forever Impactful".
The theme shows the enthusiasm, optimism, and motivation of Indonesian children to rise after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is expected that the children's forum can result in positive concrete impacts to fulfill and protect Indonesian children's rights.
During the HAN implementation, 644 Indonesian children representatives from the National Children's Forum at the national and regional levels have composed the Indonesian Children's Voice (SAI).
SAI contains aspirations of all Indonesian children to the government to make policies that support the fulfillment of children's rights and protection so that development can be felt and enjoyed by all Indonesian children without exception.
