The KPU-Southwest Papua Office is located on Merpati Street of Remu Utara Village, Sotong Subdistrict, Sorong City.
Asy'ari said in his speech that the provincial branch is located in the city center, and, therefore is hopefully able to function as the center for making the 2024 General Elections successful.
To this end, all stages of the general elections can hopefully be carried out," he said, adding that a good collaboration with the provincial government is needed to make the democratic event successful.
Meanwhile, acting Governor of Southwest Papua Province Muhammad Musa'ad commended the local KPU officials for their hard work to build a good office building.
With such a good secretariat, those in charge of the KPU-Southwest Papua Office are expected to make an utmost effort to hold successful elections.
"We have to show that we can though we (Southwest Papua Province) are new in this republic,"he said.
