Jakarta (ANTARA) - All preparations at the venues for the 43rd ASEAN Summit will be completed by September 3, 2023, Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama informed here on Friday.

"Insya Allah (God willing), everything in the venue will be ready to be used by September 3," he said at the "Road to ASEAN Summit" forum.

The main venue has been prepared by the public works (PU) office, but the decorations at the conference venue are still being perfected by the professional conference organizer (PCO), he added.

The 43rd ASEAN Summit meeting series will begin with the 23rd ASEAN Economic Community Council Meeting at St. Regis Jakarta Hotel, which will take place on September 2 and 3.

The activity will continue with a meeting of ASEAN high-ranking officials at the ASEAN Secretariat office on September 3 and 4.

On September 5 and 7, the main session of the 43rd ASEAN Summit will take place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
